Denise Sgro Posey

Denise Sgro Posey is a graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. CCMT is an accredited school with a renowned program for Massage Therapy from which Denise graduated with top honors. CCMT requirements include Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, Acupressure, as well as over 700 hours of hands-on massage experience.

Denise is licensed by the State of Connecticut, Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Denise continually strives to learn new and exciting massage techniques. She has completed advanced coursework in Hot Stone Massage, Functional Stretching, and Craniosacral Therapy Level I through the Upledger Institute.

Her most recent interest is Infant Massage. With the birth of her own daughter, Denise has been able to experience the many benefits of infant massage first hand. She is now offering Infant Massage Sessions to parents and their babies. These exclusive sessions teach the many benefits of infant massage as well as both general massage techniques and techniques designed to address specific concerns (including colic, gas, etc.).

As Co-Owner of Unity Therapeutic Massage, Denise's unique style offers professional massage incorporating practical knowledge, learned techniques, and intuitive touch. This integrated massage is customized to meet each client's specific needs and designed to promote balance and well-being.

Erica Ciampi

Erica Ciampi has been a licensed massage therapist since 2002. She is a graduate of the highly acclaimed Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. She is Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy and Bodywork and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Erica received her certification in pre-natal massage studying under Elaine Stillerman, LMT founder of Mother MassageŽ. As a new mother herself, Erica loves to support women through the intense physiological, emotional lifestyle changes that occur throughout this amazing and challenging experience.

Erica specializes in helping people who are stressed from over-exertion, injury, illness or ordinary everyday living. As Co-Owner of Unity Therapeutic Massage, she combines intuitive and technical skills to her work that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Nicole Barry

Nicole Barry

Nicole Barry is a recent Honors graduate of the accredited Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, where she studied massage as well as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Accupressure.  In addition to her studies, she also completed 720 hours of hands-on massage and 22 hours in a student-run massage clinic.  Nicole is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

As a new Licensed Massage Therapist, Nicole is already deeply passionate about her work and truly believes in the benefits that massage provides to the mind, body, and spirit.  Nicole has a wonderful ability to listen to her clients - this enables her to customize each massage to meet individual needs.  Whether a request to simply "relax and let go" or a desire for specific work to relieve muscle tension; clients will leave their session satisfied and happy.

Nicole's interests and future goals include certification in Pre-Natal Massage, Myofacial Therapy, Cranio-sacral Therapy, and Ashiatsu Bar Therapy.
